The Boilermakers’ National Training Trust Fund (NTTF) provides high-quality training and certification programs to support the skills development and safety of Boilermakers across Canada. To strengthen their digital training delivery, NTTF partnered with Lingel Learning to modernize and enhance their Moodle-based learning environment.
Lingel Learning provided Moodle hosting with the Virtual Slate framework, ensuring a reliable and scalable LMS foundation. The project included custom plugin development for CST imports based on API specifications, updates to the SSO plugin to support direct course link sharing, and the development of a JWT plugin for secure authentication. In addition, Lingel Learning delivered full setup, configuration, and custom Moodle development tailored to NTTF’s training needs.
The collaboration delivered a robust, secure, and user-friendly platform that streamlined training access for learners and administrators. With enhanced integrations, custom reporting capabilities, and reliable hosting, NTTF is now equipped with a modern LMS that supports its mission of delivering industry-leading training to Boilermakers nationwide.
